A Note from Our Pastor
Welcome! I’m glad you took the time to check out our website. I invite you to take the opportunity to find your way around and learn better who we are. If I may put it simply, we are a church that is committed to being focused on the Gospel and driven to develop our love and understanding of Jesus Christ. Here at FBC, we seek both within our services and in our own personal lives to grow through studying Scripture and submitting ourselves to it. We believe wholeheartedly in the need for a Savior from our sin, which we believe can be found in no one else but Jesus Christ and placing our faith in Him both for God’s forgiveness today and a life with God that will never end in Heaven. If you will take the time to look around and get a feel for us and not only what we believe but Who we believe in, and find that this “strikes a chord” with you, you may find that you’ll fit right in. If you are just starting to ask questions and looking for answers and aren’t even very familiar with the Bible, we’ve all been there, too. If you have questions, feel free to give us a call or to write an email in the contacts section. Thank you again for your time and if you’re looking to make much of Christ and know Him better through the Bible and fellowship with other believers, I know just the place.
Pastor Sam Stringer
Pastor Sam & Ann Stringer & their children Aimee, Cody, Emily and Noah
Pastor Sam, a native of Illinois, along with his wife Ann and their four children, came to our church in 2016. A graduate of Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies with a minor in Greek and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies and a minor in Greek in his time there. In his mid-20’s, God really opened up Sam’s eyes to the Gospel he’d claimed and brought a newness to the relationship with God and deep desire to preach and understand better the Gospel with the lost and the saved. Sam sees the Gospel as central to all ministry and makes it his aim not only to understand and live in it better himself, but also to help others do the same. Sam is a constant learner. In his free time, he deeply enjoys study and research. He also loves traveling, hockey, spicy food, playing board games, playing with his four kids and reading. He loves to have fun, laugh and joke around, but he also enjoys serious and meaningful conversations with others. Pastor Sam loves to teach and one of his biggest passions is to have God use him in a way that enables others to learn more about God and how He impacts our everyday life through grace, the gospel and forgiveness. He has a gift for taking difficult biblical concepts and being able to simplify them contextually. Pastor Sam and his family are thankful that God has led them to be a part of our church family here in Littleton
