What Should I Wear?
Wear what would make you the most comfortable! Sunday mornings seem to be more formal with the occasional tie and suit coat, but jeans (and shorts) are also seen. Our evening functions are even more casual and jeans or shorts become more of the normal attire. That is what you will see when you come to visit, but do know that we probably will not notice your clothing – we will be just be thrilled that you are here!
Do I Need a Bible? What Translation Do You Use?
The Bible is important to us, but you do not need to bring a Bible to attend. While our pastor commonly preaches from the New King James version, you’ll find KJV, ESV, NIV, and HCSB translations are also used by our people during the service. If you do not own a Bible, we have them provided in the pews for your use and as well as Bibles available for you to take home with you!
I have children – what do I need to know?
- If you are attending our Sunday School at 9:30am, we encourage you to come a few minutes early during our coffeeand donut fellowship (beginning at 9:00am) so we can show youtothe appropriate Sunday School classrooms for your children and for yourselves.
- Nursery is available during the worship service and the Sunday evening service for childrenup to four years old.
- We alsohave special children’s ministries on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm. To see more information, click here.
What is Your Music Like?
We strive to make our worship service direct our attention to God. Whether we sing hymns, choruses, or more modern worship songs, our desire is to give glory to God and God alone. What do You Believe?
Doctrine is important to us and is a central part of why we do what we do and who we are as a church. Click here to see a large portion of our statement of faith. To see the complete document, please contact us or stop at the information wall in the front entrance.
What about giving or offering?
- We want you to know that we discourage our guests from giving to our church. We feel that it is the responsibility of the church family to care for our financial needs. However, we do recognize that giving is a form of worship and if you do desire to glorify God in that way there are a few different ways.
- Give during our normal offering time during the worship service.
- Give online here.
